stop singing about storms, we all know that everyone has them, lets sing about the One who commands the storms & the winds to cease... and the victorious, goodness of His love & righteousness in & through us. the unshakable kingdom within us. The love & freedom released through us... the perfect peace that never leaves us.. the beautiful One who always loves us. that's worth singing about!!!!

I was looking for an inspiring song on iTunes that i'd heard sung before. I was very happy to find it, but when I listened to the other songs on the album, I was surprised that someone could tap into the heart of God & sing such powerful, victorious truths & then write these aweful, depressing, woa-ful songs about barely holding on to their faith. SERIOUSLY??? Do you really thing your wavering & unbelief is comforting to anyone? When we are in the midst of a storm, we want to know that Someone is trusting & expecting, joyful & hopeful, because they absolutely know that God can be counted on & that God is true! they don't want to hear all your fear & whinning. Come ON! let's put out kingdom music that actually helps us renew our mind to the truth of the glorious goodness of God & keep our eyes focused on the unseen eternal kingdom & victory & finished work of the CROSS! that's worth singing about! THat's what brought me through my storm after my son jumped into eternity... valuing God above all things, and focusing on anything & everything good that I saw him doing around me & in my family too. That is faith that pleases God.
